Recently, I reclaimed my former domain name leahharaden.com a.k.a. Leah Haraden Photography. For a couple of years, I had been building the headshot side of my photography business and renamed it as LHHEADSHOTS. I continued to offer wedding photography and all my other photography services under that umbrella.
Now that I can look back, it may have been a mistake. My wedding clients have always been very important to me. My name is out there and I want to ensure past and future clients are able to find me and my business easier than they have been able in the past couple of years.
As some of you know, I teach photography too, so I have been thinking about how to combine every aspect of my life's passion into one neat little package of a website, where clients and students can find it all. As a result of the decision, I moved my website from Photobiz to Wix. Among other advantages, I found that Wix offers the right platform for a photography business like mine.
Even though, there has been a bit of a learning curve, my new Wix website is almost complete. There are a few things I still need to customize, but I will continue that work after it goes Live. I am just about ready to pull the trigger on it and by the time you read this it will be active.
Looking ahead, I hope to add more value to all my services by writing and sharing things that will interest, benefit and entertain all my blog followers. My 2020 and 2021 calendars are filling up with some very exciting opportunities for my continued personal and professional growth.
My popular digital photography classes have a very loyal following. Presently, I am working with a few couples that love my photography style and I can't wait to work with them. I have a few short trips planned this summer and I am looking forward to posting some photographs from my travels.
Lastly, My oldest son is getting married in September and that date will be here before we know it. Such an exciting time! It will be quite a change for me to be on the other side of the camera, but I am really looking forward to it. Stay In Focus, Leah Haraden
